What Does the International Anti-Aging Institute Do?

The International Anti-Aging Institute is an organization for doctors and scientists which is focused on the issues of longevity and health. This organization holds conferences in various locations that are attended by all kinds of professionals like doctors, scientists, pharmacists and anyone else in research or medicine interested in this field of study. For example, one such conference was held in London, England and welcomed professionals from around the world interested in the areas of health, senior living, increasing human life span and improving vitality.
One of the areas of study this organization is interested in is anti-aging hormones. You may have heard about HGH, or human growth hormone. The jury is still out on whether or not this hormone is a fountain of youth or a dangerous treatment. There have been both side effects and benefits from various studies and applications. Some people swear by the rejuvenating effects of HGH and feel it can increase longevity and health, while others think it is a dangerous thing to consider. There must be lots more study performed before a definitive answer can be reached on this issue.

Another area of study is that of nutrition, supplementation and exercise. You may already know that a healthy diet and the right vitamins can go a long way towards good health. But what about increasing life span and improving the quality of living for senior citizens? The institute is working towards understanding the role diet and supplements play. In addition, exercise has also been proven effective for good health, but more research must be done to determine exactly how much and what type seniors should be doing for the maximum longevity and health.

Then there's the field of skin care. Anti-aging skin care is a booming industry because everyone wants to look younger and more attractive. You can buy skin care products designed to help you look younger in drugstores, department stores, and at your dermatologists' office. The International Anti-Aging Institute is learning which treatments make the most difference in how young a person looks. They not only study topical treatments like creams, lotions and serums, but orally administered treatments and other treatments like injections and laser light applications.
